Transitional Kindergarten
We recognize many families wish to provide supplies for their own student or donate materials for the entire school community. Parents are welcome to do so at any time. The Supplies listed below are “suggested” materials and are not required. All required materials and supplies will be provided by our school to students at no cost to families.
Mission Avenue TK Supply List
2025-2026
I am asking for a minimum amount of supplies at the beginning of this year until I can determine what is really necessary. I will send out supply requests as needed throughout the year.
INDIVIDUAL SUPPLIES: These are the only items that are requested for the beginning of school. Please clearly label the following items with your child’s name, as they will be for personal use.
● 1 regular-sized backpack (no mini-backpacks, please- must be large enough to fit a lunchbox with a snack, water bottle, jacket, folders, papers, etc.)
● 1 lunch box/bag (large enough to fit a healthy, daily snack)
● 1 pair of wired over the ear headphones (NO EARBUDS, PLEASE!)
CLASSROOM/COMMUNITY SUPPLIES: In TK, we use community supplies. If you are able to donate the following items to the class, I would greatly appreciate it. Please do not label these with your child’s name, as they will be for communal use.
● Disinfectant surface wipes (Clorox, Lysol, etc… NOT flushable or baby wipes)
● 1 box of tissues/kleenex
● 1 package of baby wipes
WISHLIST ITEMS: These are items that would be appreciated to be donated to our classroom any time throughout the school year.
● Astrobright printer paper (any color)
● Containers of play-doh
● Individually packaged non-perishable snacks (e.g. crackers, fruit strips, snap peas, Goldfish, applesauce pouches, pretzels, raisins, etc.)

Individual Supplies:
Please label the following items with your child’s name.
- wired over-the ear headphones
- a “full size” backpack in order to take home their work each week. It should be able to hold papers that are 10”x13” and their snack.
Classroom and community supplies
In our classrooms we use community supplies. If you are able to donate the following items to the class, we would greatly appreciate it. These items do not need to have your child’s name on them.
- 1 Primary Composition Notebook with Picture Box
- 1 pack of glue sticks
- 1 box of crayola 24 count kid crayons
- 1 box of Crayola Washable 10 Count Thick Markers
- 3 fine tip dry erase markers - black only please
- 1 container of Play-doh
- 1 package of tissues (last names that begin with A - L)
- 1 container of Clorox wipes (last names that begin with A - L)
- 1 box of band-aids (last names that begin with M - Z)
- 1 pack of baby wipes (last names that begin with M - Z)

Dear 2025-2026 5th Grade Students and Families,
Welcome to 5th grade! Our Opening Unit is “Let’s Play On,” which lends itself to many possibilities! The 5th grade teaching team is ready to open your hearts and minds to creative ways we can make this theme come alive. We’re excited for the possibility of field trips, performing on Culmination Day, Wax Museum, honoring the states and much more! We’re ready and it’s going to be a great year! As we plan ahead to come back to school, we would appreciate you helping us by bringing the supplies for your child listed below.
