Kindergarten
Mission Ave Open Kindergarten Supply List
Individual Supplies: Please label the following items with your child’s name.
- wired over-the ear headphones
- a “full size” backpack in order to take home their work each week. It should be able to hold papers that are 10”x13” and their snack.
Classroom and community supplies
In our classrooms we use community supplies. If you are able to donate the following items to the class, we would greatly appreciate it. These items do not need to have your child’s name on them.
- 3 glue sticks
- 1 box of crayola 24 count kid crayons
- 3 fine tip dry erase markers - black only please
- 1 package of baby wipes
- 1 package of kleenex (last names that begin with A - M) 1 container of Clorox wipes (last names that begin with N - Z)

These items would be a wonderful addition to our classroom:
- Astrobright printer paper (any color)
- Graham Crackers
- Ticonderoga My First Short Triangular Wood-Cased Pencils

· 2 boxes Crayola crayons (24 count)

· 1 Primary Journal composition book – lines and space to draw (see picture below)

Second Grade
Please have your child bring the following recommended school supplies on the first day of school.

• 2 wide ruled composition notebooks
• 1 small, personal pair of headphones or ear buds (needs to fit in desk)
• 1 backpack NO LABELS
• 2 wide tip dry erase markers (black or blue)
• 1 highlighter
• 2 dozen sharpened Ticonderoga pencils
• 1 box sharpened colored pencils
• 1 box fine tipped Crayola markers
• 1 box wide tipped Crayola markers (no fancy markers such as smelly or pip squeak please)
• 2 jumbo-sized Elmer’s glue sticks
• 1 bottle Elmer’s white glue
• 3 no brads, 2-pocket folder (any design)
• Paper Mate Arrowhead pink cap erasers

Welcome to 4th grade! We know summer has only just started but we wanted to make certain that you had a chance to collect supplies before school starts and had the opportunity to look for the best deals.

Fifth Grade
Dear 5th Grade Students and Families,
Welcome to 5th grade! Our Opening Unit is “Change Makers,” which lends itself to many possibilities! The 5th grade teaching team is ready to open your hearts and minds to creative ways we can make this theme come alive. We’re excited for the possibility of field trips, wax museum, honoring the states and much more! We’re ready and it’s going to be a great year! As we plan ahead to come back to school, we would appreciate you helping us by bringing the supplies listed below
First and foremost, a book of your choice to read……
• 2-inch binder with a clear plastic pocket on the front
• Package of 8 dividers
• 3 Composition Notebooks (college ruled)
• 2 Spiral Notebook (college ruled)
• Some plain computer paper
• 1 pencil sharpener (noiseless and with a shaving catcher)
• Colored pencils (24 pack, not erasable Crayola is great)
• A good pair of large scissors
• 3 dozen sharpened pencils for the classroom
• Pencil cap erasers (3 dozen)
• Pencil box
• 3 glue stick
• 2 boxes of facial tissue (for stuffy noses)

Dear 6th Grade Students and Parents,
We would like to welcome you to sixth grade!! This year is sure to be a year full of fun, growth, excitement, and learning. We will have many adventures this year and we will do our part to prepare you for middle school and also provide for you a 6th grade year full of Mission traditions, old and new. See you all in August!
